Stove Vent Hood Fire Damage

Fire damage at this Fort Morgan, Colorado house began in the range vent hood in the kitchen. There was significant damage to the kitchen, and smoke damage throughout the house. Having fire damage in a kitchen is very unsettling for most customers as, generally, the kitchen is the most used room in homes today. Upon SERVPRO of Greeley/Windsor’s arrival, the first step was to assess the damage and go over the action plan with the customer outlining the timeline for completion of the cleaning of their home. Once we put together that timeline we also communicated with the insurance adjuster our action plan and he was pleased that we could begin immediately. Fortunately, there was not any demo that needed to happen, so we were able to immediately get a cleaning crew onsite to begin the cleanup which pleased the customer.  With this loss, the customer had a lot of contents that they wanted to go through so that delayed the job a little but we were able to keep to the timeline.  The customer was very pleased with SERVPRO of Greeley/Windsor’s professionalism and proficiency in completing this job in a timely manner.
